Final payrun for June 30 2021

I am unable to login to process the final payrun for this year 2021. A popup is advising that the 2020 edition cannot be opened as it has been updated to a newer version. (I have not updated yet as I haven't run the final pays ) The solution that is being offered is to restore a backup copy, why ?

On the sign screen it states that Hosted 2020 will not be removed until 15th August.

Please help I'm feeling very frustrated.

Hi Kelly

It sounds like your file has already been updated so you’ll have to run the final pays in that one now. (There are no changes to the standard tax tables so shouldn’t really be an issue). You can also still finalise STP for the previous tax year in the new 2021 Hosted version.

NB: When you do, make sure you select 2020/21 in the STP window as it will automatically default to the current FY (2021/22) ! ☺️
