Annual leave submission through timesheeting
Good morning, I want to use the timesheet function for staff to submit annual leave/personal leave requests. At the moment, they can only see earning type entries, not leave. Is anybody using the tool to submit and approve annual leave? thanks

You've posted in the Reckon Accounts Hosted (RAH) category - Is that the program your question refers to?
RAH is accounting software for the business/employer - It's not intended to be used as an Employee program. The timesheet function flows through to Payroll - You wouldn't normally want individual Employees all processing their own Pays!
Having said that, the Payroll Items in the dropdown list in Timesheets should show both the Personal & Annual Leave Payroll Items (assuming these have been set up correctly & the employees have full Payroll access)

Thanks for replying. I'm using Reckon one with the timesheeting add on. I've got one employee (casual) who uses it to submit his time for payment which is approved by payroll (this seems to be working Ok). For full time employees I want them to be able to submit request for leave which is then approved by payroll - i agree, I don't want them doing their own pays. It would work if the employee could see both earning and leave type entries. Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. So at the moment, we have a hard copy form that gets completed by the employee and emailed to the manager for approved then sent to payroll. I was trying to streamline this process. Is there a reckon HR product that will allow me to do this do you know? Thanks
