Scheduled Payroll with No Data Required

Hi there, I have one casual staff member who is on a weekly scheduled payroll. However, this week she didn't work so I don't need to process a payroll. How do I skip the scheduled payroll and get it to move to the next?

Payroll Schedules are typically to simplify (larger) pay runs that are conducted in batches (eg 15 weekly-paid employees v 5 salary employees paid monthly)

I would delete the assigned Payroll Schedule from the employee's record:

then delete the Payroll Schedule itself:

In this window, highlight (select) the schedule & press Ctrl + D simultaneously on your keyboard to delete it:

Going forward, you can just pay the employee from the default Pay Employees option (either in the Employees dropdown menu or from the Payroll Centre as shown above) 😀
