Extra tax

I have an employee that wants to pay an extra $80 tax per week. How do I set this up?

Firstly you must have the employee's request in writing.
Then:
- process their pay as per normal
- manually adjust the tax by the $80; see image. In this case the the PAYG would become -1848.00
- this will then adjust the net pay due to the employee

If you go to the employee’s details, and click on the taxes tab, you can extra the $80 as extra tax so it automatically gets added onto the ordinary tax. Are you paying wages weekly?

@Kris_Williams I've been using Hosted and QuickBooks for too many years to remember, but clearly I still have things to learn 🙂

In the extra ta x it has a percentage though....yeah paying weekly
