Cleared transaction from 2018 accidentally deleted - how do I rectify?

An entry from 2018 was inadvertently deleted (normally old entries are locked this time it wasn't). Consequently bank recs are now out by this amount. How do I fix this without undoing every reconciliation to 2018 and re-doing them? Is there a way?

    Oops a doodle.

    You cant "fix" this.

    You could try restoring the backup from yesterday.

    Or you could re-enter everything over again. Remembering to reconcile everything back at the original reconciliation date.

    Its a bit late for this question but why don't you lock the file after you have reconciled it?

    Enter the amount as it was originally and when you go into your reconciliation window you will be able to tick it the next time you reconcile, all good

    It should be reconciled back at the original date.
