Rehiring a full time employee as a casual

Hi,

Anyone able to help with assistance regarding re-hiring an employee. I had a full time employee that resigned in 2022 and has full time employment elsewhere (fifo). The employee recently came back to help us out for a week. Do I reinstate this employee or setup as a new casual employee. He may do this for us again in the future, however, not on a regular basis.

If you right click on the terminated employee you can select Hire Employee and then rehire or edit which seems to basically do the same thing. But it retains their personal information
