Hi,

I have two new employees subsequently rollover to STP Phase 2. I had confirmed with my staffs and the TFN of both employees are correct. Could anyone please share the way to solve this error? I have run through the employee setup N times but can't seemed to find any mistake. Thank you.

    Hi @Kiang

Thank you for sharing your details.

I have checked employee records for the book with issue and found that TFN for one of the employees is invalid.

Please check and edit the details and try re-submitting the STP to ATO and it should be working.

Feel free to reach out to us for any concerns/issues. Thank you!

    Regards

    Tanvi

Thanks Tanvi. The error message from ATO for the fortnightly payrun did not included Antoine. He's paid monthly and October salary yet to process. How can this impacted the Wages payrun?

Yes, that's right. I have checked again for the pay run which end with up with error message in first and which is 07/10/2023 with TFN error.

And found, Employee starting 278 has invalid TFN, and the employee is added in the pay run as well.

Please check the TFN and it should be okay. Thank you!

Thanks Tanvi, checked the TFN and it's correct on the employee file. He had been with the company over a year now. Did not have issue with his TFN.

But there is an issue. We can verify TFNs using a tool that checks if algorithm is valid for the numbers provided and this has flagged as incorrect/invalid.

If you can please cross-check with the employee again. There should be just a number which is mis-spelled. Thank you!
