Journals

Just wondering if there is a limit to the number of lines allowed in a Journal in Reckon One?

I have just spent over an hour creating a journal that needed in excess of 50 lines. I think I was at line 50 when I could not add any more new rows.

So I deleted the last row and replaced it with a suspense line to balance it and to save my work. Clicked save. Received no error messages so assumed it had saved. Then went to list of Journals to check it and it was not there. Created a P & L and none of the figures I had entered were showing πŸ˜ͺ

    Hello @885566 ,

I've done a quick check myself. I was able to add in more than 50 lines into a Journal.

I believe the maximum is around 100 lines or so.

It is possible the journal did not post, and may still be in your Journals list, or your Journals list may be filtered in Reckon One.

Can you check Day to Day -> Business -> Journals -> All, and see if it's still there, just set as Reversed or Draft?

    Kind regards,

It definitely did not post Alex. It actually crashed on me 3 times. Each time was less lines than the previous effort. So what I ended up doing was saving after each line with temporary line to make it balance.

    Hello @885566 ,

Reckon One crashed? Did your web browser freeze when you tried to generate it?

Did you get a "Something went wrong" error?

    Kind regards,
