Drop down boxes not working

none of the calendar, Num or category drop boxes autofill when clicked on anymore. Have checked that the autofill boxes a re ticked under edit>preferences>program

The split transaction box does not autofill either and has to be completed manually. On closing I get a message saying there is one or more unrecognisable categories.

This occurs in all my accounts.

Anyone know how to fix this?
