Historic share prices gone after File - Rename
Reckon Home & Business 2022
Renamed a File 6 months ago - just discovered no share price data, for dates prior to re-naming (Back up from prior to rename shows all historic share prices are present)
Community discussions suggest there is no way to recover/import historic AU share prices.
Bug in Reckon Renaming?
Only solution appears to be manually editing price for each share for past dates, or restoring backup and imputing 6 months of SMSF data?

Hi @OzziePete
Typically the share price info is stored in a file with the file extension ".QPH".
When a data file is renamed using the built-in File | File Operations | Rename function, typically all associated supplementary files are also renamed.
If the renamed files are moved to a different location and the ".QPH" supplementary file is not moved or not present, a blank new supplementary file is created alongside the main ".QDF" file.
There is no function to extract price data from one QPH file to be brought into another fie.
The help articles below may be useful if you can source alternative price history data.
