Multiuser - Getting logged off when auditor logs in

Question

I set my file to Multi-user so the Auditor can access the file.  This originally worked well, but the past 3 or so years we have not both been able to be logged into the file at the same time.  We knock each other off if one is already on.  Is there a way to rectify this?

if you are only paying for one license you cannot use at the same time. And now the auditor can only access using your login details and you will have to give him the code when he logs in. If he also has a Reckon subscription you can share the file with him
