how do you set the downloading of share prices on Home and Business to automatically daily on a daily basis.

It's as automatic as hitting the orange circle next to the accounts tab which will download last night's closing price.

Not as far as I know
But if you go into EDIT, PREFERENCES, CUSTOM ONLINE UPDATES and tick the box RUN ONE STEP UPDATE WHEN STARTING that may help you.
