Tax payable register

I have never noticed this before but in the Tax payable register a due date is displayed totally different to the date on the transaction

I have no terms setup, and the name Rent has no terms attached to it. In this file it started happening on October 2021 but in another file it started many years earlier

It doesn't cause any issues, just a bit odd - what am I missing?

Hmmm, that's weird…Have you tried to change the due date to something else, save it and then change back to the correct date? would that update the due date?

yes I did that, rebuilt the file 3 times as well. The due date shows correct on cash sale, I don’t even display that field normally. After rebuild I entered a new transaction with the same result.
‘I have looked at 3 separate files now and they all have that anomaly, it started happening at different dates though

In those 3 files, can you identify any similarities that would be causing this issue? If I were to replicate the issue on my side, are there any specific steps or conditions you would like me to follow?

I just looked in the tax payable register to confirm the balance and suddenly these dates in the Due Date column as of 31/12/24 jumped out at me and they were on cash sales dated October. I had never noticed this before, but looking further into it I notice 2 files were the same and went back over 10 years and the one I was using it started happening only 2 years ago as per the screenshot. These files I am looking at are old files, been around since the beginning of GST and even earlier. Invoices aren’t used in 2 of the files only cash sales, but one file has invoices, so no similarities that I can think of. One file is in Enterprise the other 2 are Hosted files.
