Overseas mobile number for Employee is causing error in STP
We have a new NZ Employee working on a project. His contact number is +64. this is causing an error on the STP lodgement. Besides putting a +61 contact number, is there another work around?

Hi @ShelleyG
Are you entering it in the Mobile field ? Try using the Phone or Alt. Phone field instead.
If none of these suggestions work, I'd leave all the phone number field options blank & just enter it in their Notes instead!

Morning @ShelleyG
If you can please provide with the ATO returned error message.
There are chances that the error message is there because of a special Character in the Contact Field (! @ # $ % ^ & * _ +), if you try saving the number without + and try to resubmit the STP to ATO. I am hoping that should work.
Please let us know for any concerns. Thank you!

Thanks for the answers. The employee does have an Aust contact number, so that has rectified the problem.
