Overseas mobile number for Employee is causing error in STP
We have a new NZ Employee working on a project. His contact number is +64. this is causing an error on the STP lodgement. Besides putting a +61 contact number, is there another work around?

Are you entering it in the Mobile field ? Try using the Phone or Alt. Phone field instead.
If none of these suggestions work, I'd leave all the phone number field options blank & just enter it in their Notes instead!

If you can please provide with the ATO returned error message.
There are chances that the error message is there because of a special Character in the Contact Field (! @ # $ % ^ & * _ +), if you try saving the number without + and try to resubmit the STP to ATO. I am hoping that should work.

Thanks for the answers. The employee does have an Aust contact number, so that has rectified the problem.
