I don't understand the dual screen option. I thought you would be able to have different screens open however its the same screen on dual windows. I don't understand the point. Please tell me I am wrong and haven't set it up properly.

    Morning @LAB

You're correct, the new Dual Monitor feature is a handy way to move certain screens to a separate window so that you can have both open at the same time.

While not all windows in Reckon Accounts Hosted are currently supported, many key ones are and we've put together a list of supported screens you can use with Dual Monitor here - https://help.reckon.com/article/qujf23al3o

I clicked on the dual screen option and when it opens, there's just a black box on the screen.

A clipboard and full screen button above the box and nothing else.

    Hi @JEN

After you've opened the dual screen window, you can drag a supported screen (linked above) into that window. Check out the example in the Getting Started guide here.

    Hi Jen,

You need to open another browser and re login. But its just the same thing on two screens. Nothing exciting.

I now understand the feature isn't supported on all features in Hosted. Not supported on daily task. thanks

    HI @Rav

I still don't understand, is there a video i can watch demonstrating this feature. It would be really handy if i could have customers on one screen and suppliers on the other. Thanks LAB

    Hey @LAB

Yep there's a little screen recording on the Getting Started post here which gives you an idea on how you can drag a separate window into the dual screen but I'll create a more detailed one a little later this morning as well.

    hi @Rav

Thanks i tried it using the same report and it worked (BAS). However, its day to day stuff where this feature would be beneficial. :( Example, having the suppliers and customers being open on 2 windows Receipting Payments, Reconciling etc. The dual window would benefit someone who has access to all areas.
