Backup and rebuild HANGS at 99%

This happens ALL THE TIME.

I am backing up with full verification and the system gets to 99% and hangs.

SO FRUSTRATING.

What do I do? If I kill the process, how do I know that it's backed up?

PLEASE HELP.

    I have had the same problem in the past... I now back up three times... starting with the backup that has no verification and working my way up to a full back up with all verification... I find that it works... still takes FOREVER!!!!... but you know that you have backed up and data has been verified!

    Hi MM & Leonie,

    Sorry to hear you're both having issues with the backup process with Hosted.

    How large is your company file in MB? 
    When the full (complete verification) is being performed, how long are you waiting before deciding to cancel the process?

    For larger files it can take some time and although it may show it's hung at a certain %, processes are still working to complete the backup.

    In order to check if your file has been backed up, the timestamp on your backup file in the B drive should show the time and date of completion.

    Hi

    Experience has shown that on large files the Backup/Verify option can take many hours. Though doing regular full verification backups sometimes improves the speed.

    Check the options you selects when doing the backup

    how long are we supposed to wait - we have been trying for 3 days now to change over the 2017 sysTem - still cant get past 99% therefore cant update to 2017 PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In case you are reading this old post here is a solution that has worked for other users.

    Reckon Accounts is frozen and taking long to backup/Not responding when doing the file backup.
