edited November 2023 in Reckon Payroll

I am trying to change over to STP2 in Reckon One, though every time I log in it states my ABN and Branch has already been registered.

ABN 75 818 448 818

Thanks.

Myrtle

    Hi @Myrt23

Can you step me through the process you're going through when you encounter this message.

Are you following the process outlined in our upgrade how-to here - Upgrading to Reckon Payroll from Reckon One

    Hi

When I log into my Reckon One, there is a banner up the top asking me to register for STP2. I click there and it brings up a box asking me to find my company. I click next, it brings up my details and asks me for the last 3 digits of my ABN. I click next and an error saying This ABN and branch number has already been registered using another account.

Right ok, thanks for that. This should be a pretty easy one to solve.

If you've been using Reckon One for payroll and STP submissions for a while and are now in the process of upgrading to Reckon Payroll but encountering the Company Setup screen, there is likely a simple reason for that 👇

Your branch number in Reckon One is blank

Check the branch number field in your Reckon One book by going to Settings ➡ Book Settings ➡ Branch Number

Please ensure there is a valid entry in this field and it matches the branch number for your existing STP entity in GovConnect and select Save.

â„šī¸ IMPORTANT: If your ABN does not have a specific branch number the default is 001.

Once you've done the above, launch Reckon Payroll again.
