We have a debit card attached to our main working bank account. Should this be set up as a sub account in QB?

If so how do i stop the balance showing in the chart of accounts as a negative figure?

    No sub account, if the money comes out of the main account, doesn't matter if it is via internet transfer or debit card eft, it all gets entered under the one account, otherwise you cannot reconcile at the end of the month.

    You use 'payments' to enter payments from this account, you can use the reference to identify if 'int' for internet or 'tfer' to another account or 'eft' for debit card transactions.
