File format to import transactions into Reckon Accounts Premier

Hello we are using a third party program for our mechanical
workshop, the program can export transactions such as invoices to an excel file. Can Reckon Accounts Premier (currently 2015 soon to upgrade to 2016) import from csv and excel file? If so what format is needed to do this?
