Getting Enter Bills Item $ to link to the Inventory items Buy $

So I'm trying to get the Enter Bills Item pricing to link direct to the Inventory items Buy cost in the actual item card.

I've done it before but I cant figure out how I did it, and I'm trying to do it on another user, and its just not working. I check the settings/preferences but I can find the exact thing I'm looking for and I've searched the internet and the help page. This is my last resort.

We really need this streamline, we have about 1000 items and cost prices go up and down.

    Hi Tanah,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

    The amount in the Cost field of your Inventory item should populate into Enter Bills and Write Cheques forms.  You can over-write the populated cost in the Bill/Cheque, and you get the option to make the new amount the permanent cost for this item.  

    If your file is not working this way I  suggest you Resort the Item List, and if the problem persists,  Rebuild and Verify the company file.
