How to add time when person is not being paid?

Hi

We have a work experience person who is working on projects and I'd like to add his time to them. How do I add the time?

Usually time is added to a project via the payroll process but he's not being paid so I'm wondering how do I get around this? Do I set him up with a $0 value wage and run payroll?

Have you used the timesheets? Thats what I would do.

I do use timesheets but the time doesn't actually get posted to the project until a pay is run.
