You can add most of the Data Fields - including "Customer Alt. Phone" - to any of the templates:
- Open the Template (either click on the Customise button - along the top - in a new or previous one or double-click on it in the Templates List)
- Click on Layout Designer
- Click on the Add dropdown button, then on Data Field
- Select (tick) “Customer Alt. Phone” in the list, then click OK - This adds the label name & Alt Ph field.
Click outside of the selection to make these 2 new boxes editable.
You can double-click on the label name & enter whatever text you want to display (eg “Mobile No.”)
You can also edit the font, add/remove border lines & move the new label & field to your preferred location on the template.
Don’t forget to click “OK” out of each window to save your changes.
NB: Remember to be consistent with how you use this field in every single customer’s record though as the data is automatically drawn from whatever has been entered in there. It will not be editable in the template itself, only from the Customer’s record.
