Is there an easy way to search for transactions that contain certain text or data?

I'm using Enterprise. I'm wondering if there's an easy way (ie without downloading everything) to search supplier transactions when trying to find invoice content (for example "blue widgets") when that content is not necessarily limited to one particular inventory item. It would be great if the transaction listing that appears at the bottom of the Supplier Information screen (see image attached) had a Search or Find button.image

    Hi Boyd,

Have you tried 'edit' drop-down list 'find' 'advanced find' description filter with word required

eg I just found 'access' which is in a description of a sales receipt of mine.

    cheers

I'll add that when you do a Supplier Fast Report, you can get a list of transactions suitable for export BUT even if you add columns for "Item" and "Item Description" that information will not appear in the report.image

Ok, that works, thank you Angie. I guess it would be nice to have a shortcut right there on the Supplier tab, but your solution certainly works. Many thanks.

you can always add find to the icon bar...

see the double arrows at the end of the icon bar...click on it... click 'Customise Icon Bar' click 'add' scroll thru the list and and 'find transactions' add a label you like and click 'ok'

    G'day Boyd,

You need to look at modifying the report.

Click that Modify Report button and add in the Display tab the Item, Item Description columns.

Then in the Filter tab, choose the Detail Level to All

    Cheers,

    Jack

Awesome, thank you. I can't believe I've been using Reckon for 10 years without knowing that one!
