I haven't yet received my 2nd JobKeeper payment which was suppose to be today 22 May for the 27 April - 10 May fortnight. I have received the first two payments paid on 08 May. I identified all my eligible employees through STP with the JOBKEEPER-START-FN01.
I was told once we start the employee on the JobKeeper through STP, you do not have to put that JOBKEEPER-START-FNXX any more.
Do we have to keep identifying the fortnights through the STP by doing FN02 FN03 FN04 ect??

I was under the impression the payments were made monthly. No you don’t have to report FN02 etc1

The JobKeeper subsidy is paid monthly in arrears. The second subsidy payment should be paid in early June once you have again confirmed eligible employees and provide May 2020 actual turnover and June estimated turnover.2

Thanks for that extra info0

I thought the ATO came out with their payment schedule as follows.
Period Eligible
30/03/2020-12/04/2020
13/04/2020-26/04/2020 Paid 08/05/2020
27/04/2020-10/05/2020 Paid 22/05/2020
11/05/2020-24/05/2020 Paid 05/06/2020
Ect
This might have been someones interpretation only I suppose. I guess I was wondering if anyone else had received a payment today to make sure I was reporting the STP correctly. I have received the first payment on 08 May and there is nothing else to do in the ATO portal, all three sections have a checkmark.0 -
You have to claim it each month.
FN01 & FN02 claim after 26th April
FN03 & FN04 claim after 24th May
FN05 & FN06 claim after 21st June
FN07 & FN08 claim after 19th July
FN09, FN10 & FN11 claim after 31st August
FN12 & FN13 claim after 27th September
This information came from the Reckon webinar

And to "Claim" this will be through the ATO portal in the monthly declaration? Nothing further needs to be submitted on the STP other than just the normal STP paycycle reports currently going on?0
-
Correct. Process your STP as normal, and then after these dates above go into your ATO portal and make the claim.

Hi, I've since discovered that I was wrong about the claim timeframe for jobkeeper.
You are able to claim between the 1st and 14th of the following month. EG to claim for the 2 fortnights in May you are able to claim between the 1st and 14th of June. See the attached link.
Sorry for any confusion.

Can someone please confirm this for me. I am eligible to claim jk payments for the second cycle which finished on 24 May. I have checked on the business portal but there are no links to enter information for this period. Do I have to wait until 1 June so that the actual May gst turnover can be entered?

My portal only shows that I have completed the April declaration still as well. There is nothing further for me to declare. So what Lynne posted makes sense. I expect May to be available to declare from 1 June.
Just to confirm with anyone else, no one has received a second JK payment yet besides the first 2 fortnightly payment made in early May?0 -
Thanks Kevin. Nice to get confirmation we're all on the same page. I'll sit tight until 1 June.0
