Merchant Account Service message pops up when launching a Sales Receipt in Accounts Business 2014

Windows 8 users may see this message when launching a Sales Receipt in Accounts Business 2014:




If you tick the box Do not display this message in the future, you will still see it after you relaunch Accounts Business 2014.

The message is asking for Merchant Account details to use when accepting payment by credit card directly through Accounts Business.  Its a message that should not be appearing in this function.  This is an error in the programme for which Reckon apologizes.

You can get around this problem with this tweak:
  1. Edit > Preferences > Online > Company Preferences
  2. Tick Enable Payment Services
  3. enter the number 1 in the three credentials boxes
  4. OK to save.



That's it! You should not have the message pop up again.

Can we please have a resolve for the New Zealand edition of Reckon Accounts 2014 as this is very annoying and we don't have this option in the preferences.

We have customers that have to deal with this window several times a day when entering sales Receipts.

Every seems to call it the Credit Card window.

This issue has NOT been fixed in the RA2015 version!!!

Any chance it will be for the RA2016?

Annoyed much!!!!

10 months available to fix it before the next release.
