Need to upgrade to Home and Business

I upgraded from PP to Home & Business over a year ago and updated to the 2020 version a couple of weeks ago and everything was working OK. Today when I tried to open it, I got the message 'This file contains one or more accounts that require access to features not currently activated'. I rentered my key as suggested and the program opened and I did my entries but when I went to close I got the message asking me if I wanted to start a 60 trial of Home & Business. I had no alternative but to answer yes as otherwise it was going to revert back to PP and I know my current data file is not compatible with this program. Need an urgent response to this problem.
