How do I report PAYG on the bass statement -In my Payroll system, all payroll liabilities are posted to the payroll liabilities account; this includes PAYG and superannuation payments.  How can I set up the BAS statement to correctly report only wages totals and payg tax remittable. I have only succeeded in reporting from the payroll liability account and both pay and super total together. Is superannuation also recorded separately in another account?

    Hi Peter,

It is easier to separate your payroll liabilities, having multiple liability accounts.
    Payroll Liabilities as Header Account
PAYG & Super as sub accounts linking PAYG to PAYG liability account & linking Super to Super liability account then you can pull through just PAYG figures to you BAS form.

    Hope this helps
