Reimbursement

In the Pay Items there is a type call "Reimbursement", but I cant seem to add this to an employee. What is it for?

In Xero we have the option of adding Reimbursement items in Payrun and on the employee Pay Setup, but I cant seem to do this in R1. Where does this "Reimbursement" get used?
