As our golf club is changing treasurers we are wanting to transfer the old data to a new laptop. We have downloaded the updated program onto the the new laptop but can't get it to marry to the old data. Di

Kaye, have you copied your files across to the new laptop?  They should open directly.

Kaye - copy the entire folder tree where your file is across to the new computer in your favorite place under Documents somewhere. If you don't know where that is on the old computer, it will be listed in menu File, 1.c:\???\.  After Reckon starts on the new computer ignore if it creates a new file - just get it running then when open on the menu choose File, Open and navigate to your new copy folder and your *.QDF should be visible in the list. If your file names are smaller than 8 characters it should remember it for next time. If not that is another problem that can be fixed.
