You will need a licence for each installation - check your licence with Reckon.  You should put the company file on the PC and ensure you can connect from the laptop.  It would probably be best to use a router for networking rather than connecting directly between the PC and laptop.  Performance may drop when 2 users are connected and you may get messages from Reckon Accounts advising of clashes e.g. only one user can use Pay Bills at any time.  Overall performance will depend on CPU, RAM and network.
