Re: Permission Level Accountant for EOFY
Hi @ACMC, welcome back to the Reckon Community and great to hear you're starting out with Reckon One ๐
When it comes to sharing and access, Reckon One is really flexible and allows you to customise the access you give to other users. We call these 'roles' in Reckon One and they allow you to provide specific levels of access to others users you share your book with.
If your accountant is requesting admin access to the book, then yes you're correct it will grant the ability to view but also change anything in the book ie. essentially the same level you have as the owner of the book.
Ultimately, the decision is yours if that's the level of access you'd like to provide however if not, you can give them a different permission level (role), or you can even create your own custom role with access to specific areas/tasks. You've mentioned your new accountant hasn't previously used Reckon One so it may be more prudent to provide them with view access while they become accustomed to their way around, just my thought and you obviously don't have to follow that.
I'll add some info on roles in Reckon One here and it also covers how to create custom roles as well - but please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Reckon Hosted - SYSTEM GENERATED INVOICE
Even if you only have 1 paid licence, there is no limit on the number of Users that can be set-up within the company file itself so if you have multiple people working in it, each person should have their own User login setup & configured appropriately for their level of access, in order to identify who is entering what.
With 1 paid licence, only 1 user can be logged in to Reckon's Hosted platform, at any one time. As sending statements doesn't record an actual transaction, the best workaround is to check the email log to determine when it was sent & from that, you can then determine who was rostered/working in it at that time:
โผ๏ธTIP: I have my email address in the bcc field in my file's Email Preferences. I also create a designated subfolder(s) in my email, which I set a Rule(s) for so that all emails from the Hosted domain go direct to there. You can then easily track what's sent out of Hosted & when ๐

Re: Show Supplier GST Status in Bill creation screen
Both the Supplier ABN and the status indicator for GST registration. Exactly as it appears in the Edit Supplier page under Contacts, with the hover action.
Re: Open Banking Bank Feed issues
I've been speaking with our BankData team about this to get a better understanding of any wider issues at play here and I'll break down the latest info -
Yes, it looks as though the ACSISS who we connect with for Open Banking services have been somewhat problematic recently with some feeds failing which require us to manually pull them through when required which ultimately leads to delays.
From our end we've made some adjustments including an update that was released earlier this morning which hopefully ensures the service will operate more smoothly going forward.
At this stage, I'd recommend giving the service another go over the next few days. If youโre still experiencing delays or failed feeds after that, please let us know and weโll investigate further.

Re: Items List
Hi @agofarm
No, there's no change to the ability to reorganise Lists, however a subitem does need to be the same type as it's header (eg You can't move an Inventory Part-type sub-Item underneath a Service-type Item header)
You may just need to click on the diamond column header to reset the list to its default order, first ๐ :

Re: Where are your backed-up transactions?
Hi @SteveTH
Cannot give you any constructive comment on the missing and re-appearing transactions. However, as far as the size of your QDF file goes, mine is now over 30MB and I'm not having any issues.๐ค๐ค๐ค
Oh, Validate and Super Validate can often fix some issues.
Cheers jc
Re: Where are your backed-up transactions?
Also i would restore a slightly older version just to check the figures and then you can always go back to your latest, what version did you upgrade from?
Re: Reckon hosted on a laptop
That's no problem @Kris_Williams, if you do find yourself having connectivity issues and notice in task manager the RAM is not being eaten up by other background tasks or programs.
Take a look at the performance tab and check out your latency and bandwidth usage like here:
Best of luck!

Re: How do I access Advanced Reporting in Reckon Ultimate
If you continue on with your Reckon One subscription on the Ultimate plan then it'll come included. I believe we may need to do a couple of things to make that happen but its all handled on our end automatically so you'll only pay for your Ultimate subscription.
You'll get a call or two from our Customer Success team throughout your trial to check in to see how you're tracking and if you need any assistance or have questions etc so we'll definitely take care of anything should it come up ๐

Re: How do I access Advanced Reporting in Reckon Ultimate
Hey there @kerriehs, welcome to the Reckon Community ๐
With Reckon Ultimate, you do indeed get access to Reckon Insights which is our advanced reporting solution that integrates with your Reckon One book.
If you're trialing Reckon Ultimate you should be able to also trial Reckon Insights without any upfront charge. Just like your Reckon One trial, you'll need to enter your payment details to kick off a trial of Reckon Insights but it shouldn't charge you today (example below).
I'll add a guide on setting up Reckon Insights here - but please let me know if you have any questions.
