ah you are amazing Lucas. I don't normally use this company file but was filling in for staff on leave. Turns out there was an non active employee with the same name. I deleted the time sheets against it and update the spelling and all good now.

Thanks Lucas and Gerry. I tried logging in as admin and still doesn't work. Its strange as I am sure I have updated stuff before like that. It says the following

We have an employee who's name has been spelt wrong. It has an i instead of u. I tried changing it in the profile but it won't let me. How do we fix it up

I have just tried it on mine and. under the personal info tab it all seems to work OK.

I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with your Reckon Accounts Personal.
The subscription model for the software currently is on a yearly basis.
If you'd like, I could try and figure out what's causing your software to bring up these errors?

Re: Payroll sign in error
I think I saw what you're referring to while I was playing around in my own test book today. It looks like the Software ID alert message appears ever so briefly and then disappears again after Reckon Payroll completes the check and finds the option ticked in the book settings.
That's my assumption anyway but yes it definitely looks like something new. I'll have a quiet word with the product team and see if that's something that can be sharpened up.
