Hi Guys,

Currently working with POS 2015 Trial Version to do some testing - how do I record taking cash out of the cash drawer to purchase a sundry item (say for $20.00) through the POS Terminal session.

Regards,
Ven

I think it would be best to use the float out function, this is accuse you still want to reflect the reduction in funds in your draw but you don't actually want to enter it in the system as a purchase as it would require NCG tax code and pos is purely for sales not purchases so only deals in GST. Then once the good had been received you will have to raise a bill in Reckon Accounts. Regards, Chris

    Hi Ven,
You cannot do this in POS.
It needs to be done in Reckon.
You can just use the "Write Cheques" function to enter it out of your cash register funds (for reconciliation purposes)
    Kind regards,
