Hello All,

I have a new employee who does not wish to claim the TFT.

I have set him up in payroll and selected the option 1-NO TFT.

His weekly Gross is $1183.46 so his tax deducted taking into account the NO TFT should be $367.00, but for some reason my payroll wants to deduct $411.00 from him??

Have I set something up incorrectly somewhere?

I have upgraded to 2016 version of QB and should be getting correct tax table info, but something somewhere is not correct?

Help please :)

Thankyou in advance.

Sarah

I've just done a pay on mine for the same amount and it takes the correct amount of 367.00. Have you perhaps ticked the HECS HELP Boxes or added more tax to be taken as Kevin has suggested might happen

    Hi Sarah,
Just did a quick calculation and you are taxing his Super.  In the Super payroll item untick PAYG Tax.

Thanks for your help Kevin, I managed to fix my "basic mistake" with my own set of "fresh eyes" ;)
