Personal Plus 2017 on Win 7 Desktop online licence recheck every time I open

I hold a valid license for Personal Plus 2017.
I'm running WIN 7 SP1.
Since updating to 2017 at the start of every new day when first run, Reckon suspects that my hardware is not the same and it wants to recheck the license online. Which I allow, which it does, and all is good.
This however is annoying and my hardware configuration never changes.
I also do not update my operating system with any new updates.
Reckon is obviously worried that I am using my software on more than 1 machine.

Is anybody else having this issue ?
Tech support, can you assist please ?

    Hi Drew,

    Please close down Reckon Accounts Personal Plus in full and then access the following directory C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Quicken\Config\quicken.lic

    Delete the .lic file located here.

    Restart your PC and then reopen Personal Plus and go through the process once more.

    This should hopefully cease from this point after doing the above, but please let me know if the issue persists.

    Hi Rav,

    Completed your instructions exactly. But no good.
    It still thinks I have an invalid license on first start daily.
    Obviously, after checking, license is verfied and all ok.

    Any other ideas ?

    This is still a problem. It's checking for valid license every few days on start up.

    This is apparently the only forum I can use to seek assistance and I feel I have been abandoned.
    I pay for my software and I believe it is not working correctly.
    In fact it seems if I did not have an internet connection I can never use my software.

    Can someone please assist
