PAYG upload reporting incorrect information to the tax office

I used the portal to lodge my PSAR statements as normal, and I had previously checked the Working Holiday Maker box in the relevant employees tax information as required.

The correct letter was shown in the printed PAYG for everyone, but when some try to do their tax with MyTax it says they are an H (Working Holiday Maker) when they are not.

This means they lose hundreds of dollars, or owe money if they proceed. When I spoke to the tax office, she said that it showed an S in the front, but when she dug deeper into the employee, it showed an H behind the main screen.

I see in the upload, the header file shows all H in the all of the lodgement details.  I uploaded an amendment for just the non-WHM staff on Monday night (17/7), and the header showed S where the H was in all of the lodgement details on . One of the affected employees tried today, and tells me it has not worked yet.

Are there any ideas how to stop this happening, or why it is happening, or how to fix it!

Yes. Still having the issue. I just ran it again for all staff and the header for the first person (and everyone else) is 628DINBH39198319306111982Con....

If I run it with only that person or with just 'S' people, it is 628DINBS39198319306111982Con....

This is the only place I can see the difference between H & S.

Has there been any update to this issue? The ATO still has these people listed as an 'H' - and for some reason, the amendment has not been processed yet so I still don't know if that will even work...
