reckon one very slow and invoice items glitching
Ben Davis
I have been having problems with reckon one for some time now, the speed is slow and unresponsive across different internet connections and different web browsers. I also constantly have problems with the invoice area, specifically when I enter an item and click on the quantity or any other field, it will then delete the item name from the item field and I have to start again.
This is extremely frustrating and I will be forced to change to a different software if this cannot be fixed.
I should mention that I really do like this software and on the occasional time this has worked properly I have enjoyed my experience with Reckon.
EDIT: working slightly better in Chrome than Firefox

Hey there Ben,
Thanks for getting in touch around this and sorry to hear you've been having some trouble.
Are you experiencing performance issues constantly or does it come and go?
Is it happening right now?
Ben Davis
Yes, it's almost always happening

Hi Ben,
Are all your internet programs slowed as well? Does your ISP slow your service down if you go over the monthly downloads/uploads limit. That's the problem with using an online accounting program - you are under the limitations of your internet service.

I'm using my phone for internet, speedtest.net shows 52Mb down 35Mb up with 32ping. The rest of my internet experience is working well

Hey Ben,
Since making the change to Chrome, is the same pattern of behaviour regarding the item line getting cleared still occurring?
Ben Davis
I would say it's at least 80% better but it still happens occasional. I'm now getting gateway timeout messages when I click save. When I try to add an item to the invoice I get a loading animation that goes for a minute before I can lookup an item
