Have updated company file on Accounts Hosted but not recognised on other stations.... Help

Was unable to fully back up company file so I created a portable file in 2017 and installed in 2018.  However, now when other users log on to 2018 they are prompted to go through the update process agin.  It seems they are not accessing the newly updated file.  How can I fix this please?

    If you created the file again then you will need to share it again. And thanks for the question
