I can’t get ESCT amount when doing payroll with Reckon account hosted?

    Hi Shanlin,

    Have you set the ESCT Rate under the Employees Record?

    Can the software automatically do the ESCT rate? as it should be the rate as PAYE, eg, with $6250 monthly payment, ESCT is $56.1 rate is 29.92%, which is not 30%

    Hi Neil,

    I set the rate 30% for ESCT, please see the attached photo, the calculation didn't seem right. 30%x187.5 = $56.25, I don't know where is this $80.35 from?  Any helps for getting it correct are appreciated.

    Hi Shanlin,

    Go into Edit > Preferences > Payroll & Employees and untick the 'ESCT Paid By the Employer' option, it will then calculate the ESCT as $56.10. 

    There are no plans at this stage to change the way ESCT is calculated.
