Using Reckon Accounts Desktop 2019, I have received the following message back from the ATO:
The element 'Payroll" in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt' has invalid child element 'Amendmentl' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payent'. List of possible elements expected: 'InteractionTransactionld' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt'. Hint: while processing parent element [Payroll] child mandatory element [InteractionTransactionld] was expected but not found
I cannot delete or reload the pay file. I am stuck because I cannot go forwards or back. This is so frustrating!!!!

Patricia,
This message comes up when there is a mismatch between the file types for the STP pay event export file created in your Reckon accounting software and the submission option you've selected in GovConnect.
To put it a bit more simply, you may have chosen 'Update Event' option in GovConnect STP whereas the pay event was created as a normal one ie. not created as a Update Event in Reckon Accounts. You just have to make sure that whatever type of STP file you are creating in your Reckon accounting software is what you are selecting as your upload option in GovConnect.
