Encountering error message - Unable to open the data file

Encountered message in Personal Plus 2019 when trying to back files up to a USB.  Uploaded 2020, but that hasn't fixed the problem.

    That's fine, so far as it goes, but the real problem now is that the program is telling me it can't open the data file, so at the moment, I have lost access completely.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your follow up Dave,

    I wasn’t able to open RPP at all, however, a few re-boots, i.e. computer off/on; during the course of yesterday seems to have worked wonders and I am now back in business.
