invoice amount incorrect

The calculated amount on some invoices is incorrect when the item price contains 3 or more decimal places, and the quantity does not result in a whole number of cents - but it is not consistent. Today's example - 15 items at $0.777 = $11.67 (correct result should be $11.555 rounded to either $11.65 or $11.66) Now make a minor change - eg, 15.01 items results in correct calculation of $11.66; or item price $0.77701 also results in $11.66. What is happening with the calculation when the quantity is 15 and the item price is $0.777. There is no GST involved in this calculation.

I get 11.66 in both my desktop version and my online version; 15 x 0.777 = 11.660 -
Len. In working backwards, there appears to be a simple mathematical explanation. $11.67 divided by 15 results in $0.778. From that one can deduce that Reckon, for some unknown reason, appears to be rounding the last digit up by one point.
This could be akin to another similar type matter with accrual rates for leave where a figure in one particular area is changed by Reckon to something entirely different and it cannot be changed to the correct figure. Put all of this down to potential irrational fractioning within the innards of Reckon.

OK found it; if you go to Lists>Price level listing there's a rounding option in there, whether it's rounded or not. Your might be rounding up or down before it gets into the package and so giving you incorrect amounts
Go to Reckon Accounts Help and then the search option and type in rounding1 -
Hi John & Charley,
Thank you for your replies.
There are no listings in my Lists>Price level listing, so nothing there to correct.
Oddly, if I force the total to be $11.66, Reckon then adjusts the unit price to $0.77733; $11.66/15.
I have done some further testing, and the error only occurs when the resultant product has a 5 in the third decimal place and 0s thereafter, so the error appears to be in the rounding of amounts such as $1.235. In fact, one item with the price set at $1.235 rounds to $1.25, neither $1.23 or $1.24, both of which would be acceptable.
How is this type of error reported to Reckon?
Regards,
Len

In Lists>Price level go to the next step and it'll bring up the next step and that's where you can pick the relevant item and see the rounding option0
