We are using Reckon Enterprise and have just migrated our data to a new file. We have a problem importing our Suppliers and Employees IIf files as this Error Code is displayed:

"Reckon Accounts has experienced a problem and must be shut down. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Error Code: 13656 65602."

Would appreciate any advice to resolve the problem.

Thank you

Martin

    Hi Martin,

Is the source QBW and the new destination QBW file that you are importing to, both in the same version of the Reckon Accounts software or is one older/newer version than the other?

Can both of those IIF file be re-imported back into the original source QBW file without the error occurring?

How many records are in each of the Supplier IIF file and the Employee IIF files?

    Recommend the following test:

    1) Make a backup of the destination QBW file into which you will be importing the IIF files

    2) Take the Employee list and split it in half

    • copy the file header row that begins with "!EMP" so that it exists in each split IIF file

    3) Import the the first half of the Employee list and confirm whether the problem occurs

    4) Import the second half of the Employee list and confirm whether the problem occurs

If one of those IIF file imports succeeds then it confirms that the problem is isolated to the other half IIF file

If both half IIF file imports still fails then the problem will require further investigation

    Hi Martin,

Are these Supplier and Employee IIF generated from an existing QBW file or did you create them in Excel manually or from another 3rd party software?

Recommend that you import separately the Suppliers IIF and the Employees IIF to confirm whether the problem is occurring just for suppliers, employees or both.

If importing Employees results in a crash, it is possibly due to an Employee record missing an "Employee Number" or having a duplicate number to another employee record.

    Hi

The Supplier and Employee IIF were generated from an existing QBW file. Each file was imported separated into the new QBW file. The same error message was displayed when the process failed.
