How to correct an EOFY year report submitted to the ATO

edited January 3 in Reckon Payroll

My original submission put the wages for April to June 2022 in the 2022-2023 financial year

I have managed to resubmit the pay run and the 2021-22 EOFY report and the ATO has the correct data.

However the ATO still has income for the 2022-23 year but the Reckon app says there are no paid employees.

How do I delete the 2022-23 incorrect information that is on the ATO income statement

Thanks Tina

    Hi Tina,

Did you edit the original pay run to change the pay date that was entered on it or did you delete the original pay run and recreate it in the app?

When you send your first 'actual' pay run for the 2022/23 financial year, your year to date balances for STP will be updated.

    Hi Rav

I believe I edited the original pay run.

If I click on the EOFY 2022- 2023 it says no paid employees. There are no pay runs for 2022-23 so I would be unable to edit the information.

How do I correct the employee paid amount showing on the ATO for 2022-23?

    Thanks Tina

When you process your first 'actual' pay run for the 2022/23 financial year and send through the STP submission for it, the year to date balances from that will update on the ATO's end.
