STP App from 01.07.22

We have been using the STP App Basic for a very small payroll function, commenced 01.07.2019.

Now, with the new year and the various discussions around compliance of STP2 and the deferrment arrangement with the ATO, we are unsure whether the App is compliant enough to continue using like last previous years, OR do we wait till Reckon announces the go ahead? App in use now is version 2.24.45

Our pay is very basic - less than 4 employees, only Ordinary time, PAYG, super.

Your thoughts will be very helpful to us moving forward.

    Hi John,

    The deferral we have in place from STP Phase 2 requirements is currently in place to 1 January 2023 which means that the Reckon Payroll App is fully compliant and able to be used for both payroll and STP submissions as it currently is.

    There will be more information around STP Phase 2 and our software later in the year as we get closer toward the date of commencement.
