I want to update the hourly rate for all of my workers.
I have gone into company preferences and updated the hourly rates there but these do not show when processing the pays weekly. The old rate shows so I have to alter it every week before the people get paid??
The only rate that is correct is the new employee.

Change the hourly rate in each employee’s details, that way you won’t have to change it when you process the pay

Just to add on to Kris's explanation, the Employee Default rates refers to NEW-hire employees (eg those you create after entering/updating the default rate) It does not affect existing employee setups - As Kris said, you need to update the rate for a specific employee in their individual record - this will then be the rate that shows on their Paycheque 😊
