I have tried to set up a new Payroll Item Salary Sacrifice Superannuation account, however it is being taxed incorrectly. I have set it up exactly the same as all my others but the tax on this one just won't calculate correctly.

It is set up as SS, tax tracking is Gross, PAYG tax box is ticked, no qty ticked, default rate entered, and applicable payroll items selected .

Where have I gone wrong please ??

    Hi There

Go into your PAYG Tax Payroll Item & tick this new SS Super Payroll Item under Include Wages in PAYG Tax. (Unfortunately, new ones often need to be selected/deselected as applicable on the other Payroll Items affected 😬)

TIP: Payroll Items should be generic, not employee-specific - The rate should be specified in the applicable employee's record, rather than on the Payroll Item itself 😊
