Is there a payroll app where staff can enter in their hours and it automatically enters it into Quicken payroll

Can I just clarify which software you're using? I note that you've mentioned Quicken Payroll in your post however we don't have any software with that name so just want to confirm.
If you're using the Reckon Payroll App, which this post has been created under, then the companion Reckon Mate app (info linked below) will be expanded in future to allow employees to enter and submit their time information.

Thanks for your response. Its my bookeeper who uses the software and yes it is Reckon Payroll that we use.
The reckon Payroll App seems great. I guess we can start by inviting employees to use the app so they can track their records.
How far away do you think it is before the employees can enter in their own hours on the app. Currently this is very time consuming as the staff have to enter in their hours manually on a spread sheet and then we need to enter the totals in to reckon to process the pay:(

Unfortunately I can't advise a timeframe on this at the moment as our sole focus at the moment is on delivering STP Phase 2 functionality for all of our payroll-capable software so it'll be a little bit further down the line at this stage.
Please note, the Reckon Payroll App (which the Reckon Mate App mentioned above is a companion for) is a standalone app that does not have a connection with our other Reckon software eg. Reckon One, Reckon Accounts Hosted etc.

Hopefully it wont be long before there is the capability for staff to enter in their hours on their phones and it automatically enters in to Payroll

@Rav - that was a client of mine, Nuri1, I didnβt know he was asking this question but I use Reckon Hosted for him. So I am now asking the same question as to whether thereβs anything that employees can do that eliminates the need for data entry into payroll. I very much doubt it but just have to clarify on behalf of him

Ok, when it comes to Reckon Accounts Hosted, I think the closest option at the moment would be the Time Tracker by eBillity add-on/integration. I'll add a link below that has more info including its key features -
