Reckon Payroll has received a new update which has brought in some highly requested new functionality and enhancements 🆕✨

Check out details of the inclusions in this new update below!

🆕 Normal hours worked automatically reduce when leave is taken

You now have the option to automatically reduce ordinary time earnings (OTE) by the leave taken hours within a payrun.

The OTE hours will be reduced when any leave hours have been entered, if there are insufficient hours to reduce the OTE pay item then it will reduce to zero.

This is applicable for employees who are set to full time or part time as their employment type.

🆕 Additional requirements for supplier (payee) field for deduction items

We've received feedback regarding confusion on when to set an account, a supplier, or both for deduction items. To make this simpler and clearer, the deduction pay item has been updated so there is an account section which clearly provides the options of account, supplier, both along with the ability to find out more information if required.

You also now have the ability to enter either a percentage (%) or dollar value ($) against a deduction item that has the calculation basis selected as a fixed amount.

🆕 Display which employees are eligible to add to your pay run

We've enhanced the payrun creation drawer which will now show the employee's employment basis, along with visually displaying if the employee is terminated, whether they were hired after the pay date, or has incomplete data.
