Update STP upload from last quarter

I need to replace the pay run from 21 December -I thought I had but turns out I didn't use file replacement and so now there are 2 payruns for that date and my bookkeeper has advised:

'It looks like the 2 files were added as “new” payruns for the same period….

The second one will definitely need to be deleted please, as it is incorrect and the ATO STP2 and Reckon file don’t match….'

I've tried doing an update event, but STP only shows the last 5 payruns? What can I do in this instance?

Have you looked at the totals in the details of the latest submission, if they agree with Reckon you won’t have to do anything because YTD figures are what is submitted not individual pays, even though it shows those figures on each submission

    Hi @SharonOS

A full file replacement is only used to replace the latest successful submission only. The reason 5 appear in the list to choose from is in case an error was returned with the most recent submission.

As @Kris_Williams has rightly pointed out, STP is reported on a YTD basis only so if you've already sent through successful submissions since this particular one then your YTD balances have already been updated so there's likely no action required.

STP submissions that have been sent cannot be deleted.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone! 🎅🎆

I'm on leave from 23 December and back on deck again January 6th.

Thank you @Kris_Williams & @Rav - I've passed your advice to my book keeper. 😀
